Mexican Soccer Voodoo

Mexico has a long history of losing to the United States in World Cup soccer competitions. But this year they have enlisted the power of black magick in order to break their losing streak - with a little help from Radio Shack.

An advertisement in the sports daily Record on Tuesday invited fans to clip coupons and redeem them at their local Radio Shack store for a voodoo-doll likeness of a U.S. player. The hope was that a little black magic might help Mexico break a decade of futility on the road versus its northern neighbor.

"Help end the losing streak so Mexico advances," the ad read.

An illustration showed a pair of scissors slicing off the leg of a doll in a U.S. jersey that was bruised, crying out in pain, leaking stuffing, and stuck with pushpins.

"We imagine a group of young people gathered around the TV supporting Mexico and applying punishments to our rivals so that the team can qualify," Record said in a statement.

There is no word yet as to whether or not the American team will respond with their own etheric assault, but if anyone from the team would like to hire me to cast a counter-curse go ahead and shoot me an e-mail. My rates are not that unreasonable, at least from the perspective of a large sports franchise with millions of dollars in the bank.

Naturally, Radio Shack downplayed its first foray into the realm of dark sorcery.

Daniel Paz, marketing manager for the newspaper, told The Associated Press the promotion was a lighthearted attempt to make next month's rivalry game more enjoyable for fans.

"It's a toy," Paz said. "There's no intention of being anything serious."

But that's just good public relations. I mean, who would want to buy a potentially haunted stereo? That is, aside from me.

I suppose we'll find out when the match is actually held whether or not this voodoo ploy is successful. It may be "a toy" and all, but if Mexico wins it likely will owe some of its success to the power of the paranormal. After all, giving you an edge is what magick is "supposed" to do.

Psychic Powers

All over the world, civilizations of all kind have always relied on faith, spiritual and mystical beliefs. Is it possible that centuries of practicing witchcraft, voodoo, astrology, magick and more generally psychic powers are now considered as the dark age of spirituality? Is it possible that our ancestors were wrong all these years?

Why limit your world to just the few things you can see and touch? After all, what you see isn't always what you get.

In a world where mainstream religion and spiritual beliefs are often mocked, it's easy to laugh at those who personally believe in the powers of the paranormal, voodoo, magick, psychic or new age remedies. Life is a difficult struggle for millions of people worldwide and there are many issues you can deal with: love, money, health just to name a few. It is true that many persons are solving their problems by turning to magic spells. When asked, most people who use these magic spells will tell you that they really work... and they do.

So how can a love spell performed by a psychic actually attract a soul mate to a lonely person seeking a love partner? For those who believe in psychic powers and the paranormal world think there must be a spiritual or metaphysical helping hand involved.

As a psychic and paranormal expert, who has studied spirituality, psychic phenomena and the art of spell casting, I personally believe that there is much more to this than meets the eye. Most mainstream religions accept the power of prayer as a way to receive blessings, protection and goodness from spiritual sources. Then, why would it sound weird that people are actually seeking answers from a psychic or magic spell?

Do you know that there are more people than you thing who use magic spells on a regular basis? If the magic spells they cast weren't working, do you really think they would do that regularly? Of course not. So, if they find guidance, help and results thanks to these spells, do you still want to be the foolish one who doesn't even know what you're missing?

Curse How To Dispose Of Cursed Voodoo Doll

Voodoo Dolls can be cursed and bring bad luck to the person(s) who cursed it or was cursed by it. One way to dispose of it is by wraping it in a white cloth along with sea salt and skaking it. Sea salt is very often used in the Voodoo religion to purify magic and spells. Then take it to a lake, river or someplace in nature and ask the Voodoo Spirits to take the negitive energy frim you and ransform it into poitive. Go back to your home and clence yourself in a bath with herbs like basil, juniper and even seasalt.

Another way to dipose of a cursed voodoo doll is to wrap it in a white cloth with seasalt and burn it. Place the ashes in a hole far away from your home and sprinkle holy water on the ashes. Cover the hole, being very carful not to touch the ashes. Go home and bathe ourself throughly adding some holy water to the bath. An old Voodoo secret to making holy water is to leave out a bowl a water at night near a window or outside. The next moring the sun will shine on th bowl and you will supposedly have holy water.
